Mechanical Repair Division

The Mechanical Repair Division (MRD) represents the interest of auto repair businesses in B.C. Through participation in the National Automotive Trades Association (NATA), the MRD played a key role in solving the issue commonly referred to as “Right to Repair”, which concerns access to OEM diagnostic and repair information by independent repair facilities. Success came in the form of the Canadian Automotive Service Information Standard (CASIS).
